Our safeguarding course is a mandatory course which we support our staff to achieve.
The training breaks down the appropriate courses of action to take, empowering our staff by giving them the skills and knowledge they need in order to appropriately report abuse and neglect should they ever need to.

Ligature training
One of our specialist areas is supporting individuals who self-harm and that is why we ensure our staff have received appropriate training specifically designed to equip them when they are supporting individuals who are at risk of attempting suicide or self-harm by a number of means, including the application of a ligature.

Moving and handling
Working within healthcare and social care often involves lifting, moving or otherwise manually handling people. That is why we provide mandatory moving and handling training for our employees to highlight the risks and requirements associated with manual handling.

Autism awareness
One of our specialist areas is supporting individuals on the autistic spectrum. We provide our staff with autism awareness training to help them understand more about Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and how these affect our service users who have been diagnosed.

Learning disability awareness
We support many clients with a learning disability and believe it is important that our staff are provided with the appropriate training to support these clients.

We offer learning disability awareness training to our staff to help them understand the issues surrounding learning disabilities including the relationship between learning disabilities, ASD, and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). This training allows our staff to reflect on and improve how they support people with learning disabilities.

Mental Capacity Act
We train all our staff to ensure they are always complying with the Mental Capacity Act and Care Quality Commission requirements, and are always advocating and promoting for the service users’ human rights.
